Global West was established in 1980. The company originally fine-tuned suspension systems for production road race and formula race cars. This work included track-side evaluations and adjustments as well as major modifications to the chassis to correct suspension deficiencies. Before long, Global West was building complete race cars, conducting chassis research for other companies and developing its own product line of suspension components.
