Return Policy

We will only accept merchandise for return or exchange provided that it is returned within 30 days of purchase date. Product and packaging must be in new condition. Merchandise is not eligible for return if any attempt has been made to install it. You must provide a copy of your invoice and instructions on what you would like done with the returned parts. (Refund, Exchange, Etc.) Returned items must be shipped prepaid. We will not accept C.O.D. returns. Special ordered items and electrical items are not returnable. All Accepted items are subject to a handling/restocking fee. All Aluminum items are subject to a refinishing charge. Scratched or damaged aluminum parts will not be accepted for return.

 

Terms

All special orders require a 50% deposit unless other arrangements have been made. When including payment with your order, please send only Cashiers Check. We will accept Visa and MasterCard. Phone in orders are also welcome. Oversize and/or overweight boxes will be charged in accordance with the rate chart rates. Restoration Performance reserves the right to change chipping rate in accordance with rates in accordance with rate increases by freight companies.

 

Sales Tax

All Arizona residents include the appropriate state sales tax when ordering.

 

Warranties

The factory Warranty constitutes all of the warranties with respect to the sale of these item/items. Restoration Performance. hereby expressly disclaims all warranties either expressed or implied, including any implied warranty or merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose and Restoration Performance. neither assumes nor authorizes any other person to assume for it, any liability in connection with the sale of this item/items.

 

Descriptions

We will makes every effort to verify the accuracy of all information published. Each item is represented with information that is accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of catalog is printed. Restoration Performance is not responsible or liable for mistakes, print errors or inaccurate information that may lead to or result in labor costs or damages to any vehicle under any circumstances. Rights and Lefts Some items are presented as right or left hand products. (right side-passenger) (left side-drivers). Right hand or left hand sides are determined by sitting in the vehicle, not standing in front of the vehicle. Color Matches Due to multiple manufacturers of products color variations may occur. Slight color variations are common especially amongst interior products and does not constitute a defect. These products are not eligible for return for this reason.

Availability

Availability of all items in this catalog are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue products, services or accessories without notice. Price changes are due to manufacturers and material fluctuating costs. In the event of extreme increases, you will be notified promptly before we ship. If there is only a slight increase, you parts will be shipped at the prevailing prices. We assume no liability for errors herein. Some parts may not be legal for sale or use in some states including California on any pollution controlled motor vehicle

 

Back Orders

The invoice located in the packing slip of your order will notate any items that were out of stock at the time of shipping. The unavailable items will be back ordered unless otherwise specified on your order form or verbally to a sales representative when placing your order by phone. Back orders are usually shipped when the products arrive at our warehouse without prior notification. Restoration Performance will make an effort to contact the customer if the back order is more than 90 days old. If you wish to cancel a back order, please notify our customer service department immediately. The customer will be responsible for a restocking fee and freight charges if the back order is cancelled or returned after the items are shipped.

 

Damages

Always check the contents of your shipment in the presence of the person delivering the merchandise. Should any damage occur, immediately notify Restoration Performance customer service dept. so that all steps necessary will be talked to ensure a prompt replacement of any damaged goods. Accurate instructions will be taken to ensure a prompt replacement of any damaged goods. Restoration Performance is not responsible if no notification is given within 2 working days of receipt of goods (excluding Sundays and Holidays). Restoration Performance will file a claim with the carrier in most cases. If the customer files a claim with the carrier, Restoration Performance will not be responsible for replacing damaged products and the customer will be responsible to pay for any replacements until the carrier pays the claim. Please follow these instructions to avoid any problems or misunderstandings associated with damaged products and freight claims.

 

Billing and Shipping Address

Please have the billing address if using a credit card to pay for your order. All credit cards are verified by the name and address before shipping. You may have your order shipped to a different address providing the cardholders name and address matches the credit card you are using. You may be asked to contact your credit card company and have your shipping address added to your account. Please have both the billing and shipping address available before calling.

 

Payment

We Accept major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard. Please have your credit card readily available before ordering. A security code is required on all credit card orders. All truck orders and special order products must be pre-paid.

 

Method of Shipment

We can ship your order via ground delivery, 3 day Select, Normally most orders are shipped via ground delivery. If you require any special shipping or handling instructions, please notify your sales representative when placing your order. We will make every effort to provide these special services when requested.

 

Sheet Metal Body Parts

The sheet metal you receive may have scratches, dings, small dents and other minor imperfections which are considered normal sheet metal characteristics due to the nature of the product. These minor imperfections will be easily corrected during the filling, priming and sanding phase of your sheet metal installation. We does not consider dings, scratches, minor dents or other imperfections on the sheet metal to be defects in the panel nor are they considered damaged. All sheet metal panels will require some sort of preparation and manipulation during installation. Every panel that we sell is inspected and then carefully packaged to protect against damage that may occur during transit. If damage occurs we require notification within 48 hours of delivery and we will require photos emailed to sales@restorationperformance.com.

We recommend test fitting all sheet metal panels prior to final paint and installation. Minor modifications including elongating mounting holes, adding additional shims, etc. are normal and may be necessary when installing sheet metal. It is important to note that hard driving conditions, like racing, can twist bodies and frames out of original tolerances. Poor bodywork from previous collisions can cause problems with the body structure that the panels are attached to. Some vehicles were manufactured with a unitized body causing even the most minor accident to twist the body creating a situation that would cause sheet metal panel mis-alignments. Take into consideration that tolerances on classic vehicles are not as exact as they are on modern vehicles. This is primarily due to the hand fitting of panels at the factory on most antique and classic cars as opposed to the robotics used in today’s modern factories. All of these factors will affect the way your new reproduction sheet metal will install and fit on the car. There is really no such thing as a direct fit body panel when it comes to older vehicles.

 

Truck Freight / Over Sized

Products that require truck freight indicates that the product is too large for ground delivery and must be shipped by motor freight. There may be items listed herein that are not indicated as truck freight. These items must be pre-paid in advance including freight charges before the shipment can be sent. Restoration Performance Center requires a minimum of $105.00 for all out of state truck shipments. Shipping to a residential address is only available if the address is the same as the billing address used for payment of order. Truck freight rates could be higher depending on what is being ordered and the destination. Residential deliveries require an additional $50.00. Should a customer delivery require special handling (lift gate service, routing, additional freight charges, etc.) any and all additional fees will be billed to customers credit card. Acceptance of truck freight shipment is acknowledgement that additional charges will be incurred. Please include a commercial business address whenever possible. Lift gates are not provided for Truck Freight deliveries. If the customer elects to use a lift gate, there will be a subsequent charge of $100.00 to do so. 

ANY SHIPMENT THAT IS ACCEPTED AND SIGNED FOR BY SHIPPING DESTINATION, PARTS WILL BE CONSIDERED ACCEPTABLE BY CUSTOMER OR REPRESENTITIVE.

*Any commercial address in a rural area (farm/school) is considered residential, and will not qualify for "Business" freight cost.
